Handmade furniture that is a functional work of art

Tom Kuklinski is a studio artisan working in the hills of western Massachusetts. The last 30+ years have been dedicated to building and restoring high end furniture for a diverse clientele.

Tom creates custom furniture that can be passed down through generations. These heirloom quality pieces are crafted and finished with care to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. In his restoration work, Tom loves bringing treasured pieces back to life to be enjoyed once again.

About

My preferred medium is solid native lumber, especially large slabs. I would describe much of my furniture as Asian inspired Arts and Crafts, with a nod towards Organic Modern.

That said, many years spent restoring antiques have trained my eye and hand to include a wide range of styles.

News

As of June 1, 2022 I will be relocating the woodworking studio to a restored carriage barn located on my property in Shelburne Falls, MA.

Current projects have the studio booked until Summer of 2022. Contact me now to discuss and reserve a spot for your project.

I am selling my sawmill! At this point I have a wonderful inventory of beautiful native woods, and it is time to pass the mill on. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing the mill.

Beginning in the Fall of 2022, I plan to begin teaching woodworking classes through Greenfield Community College. Subscribe to be notified of upcoming classes.
